What we do

Troyls and Nos Lowens, with a caller and dance leaders.
Perfect for Weddings, Parties and other celebrations.
'Troyl' is the Cornish word for a ceilidh or barn dance, with a caller taking you through the dances.

'Nos lowen' means ;happy night' and is an evening of simpler dances to pick up by following the dance leaders.

We love both, especially when we are booked to do a combination of the two; the best of both worlds!
Cornish dance displays, workshops and processions.

  • For dance displays, we can bring along our dance stage, and if required, our musicians' stage too.
  • For workshops (suitable for all ages from toddlers up to centenarians!), we will teach a dance or too, and involve the participants in some easy 'follow-my-leader' nos lowen dances.
  • We are a colourful addition to processions, with our black, red and silver outfits, at festivals, carnivals or other events

Sunday afternoon dance classes at Heamoor British Legion.
We welcome dancers and musicians, (aged 10 years or over)  off all abilities, including complete beginners.

These start at 4.30pm most Sundays, but  please ring or email if coming for the first time so that you won't have a wasted journey!

Regular evening celtic sessions at Penwith pubs
These happen approximately every four weeks, and are an informal session of music, dance and song, which are open to all . There is no pressure to join in, but you will be very welcome  to do so. We feel these sessions are the best ones for first-timers, as you can get a feel for what we do and who we are! Look out for posters, Facebook posts, and our diary page for dates.
